Few things satisfy my cravings these days the way PB2 does. Lately, I have been enjoying a few tablespoons of the stuff on a big red delicious apple every night after the kids go to bed. I may even love it more these days than my late night glass of wine. This says a lot about PB2.
I originally heard about PB2 from my brother who is more adventurous, I think, on trying new and healthier options for food. We are similar where we have an on-again, off-again relationship with carbohydrates. I think we are also similar in we love carbs so much, it can be an all or nothing type of eating routine at times.
I’ve had PB2 in my hand at the grocery a few times but didn’t bite the bullet until recently. Now that I am hooked, I expect to order the stuff by the case on Amazon and am considering buying it for all my family and friends. Ok, I digress. Case and point – I love PB2 and so should you.
Basically, PB2 is peanuts pulverized into a powder. GNC describes, “PB2 is superior quality peanuts are first slow roasted then pressed to remove 85% of the fat and oil. The result is exquisitely natural roasted peanut butter flavor that’s deliciously rich in taste, easy to enjoy and wonderfully healthy”. Add 1 tablespoon water to 2 tablespoons PB2 and you have a protein rich, lower calorie peanut butter. Spread PB2 on sandwiches or fruit, add it to shakes and smoothies, create lower calorie desserts, and even make pad thai!

I eat the original PB2 and also love the PB2 with premium chocolate. It’s not overly chocolaty which I like.
