Minneapolis D.NOLO 2-Day Blowout Sale

A girlfriend of mine texted me early last week about getting together. I hadn’t seen her since before the holidays and I tried to think of something new we could do together in the Minneapolis area. Our last get togethers included: Buti Yoga though yoga-lu and her birthday dinner at Boneyard (now closed) in Uptown. My friend has great personal style and I thought shopping should be included in our next get together!

I have been following Primrose Park on Instagram for a few months. They opened up shop in NE Minneapolis last Fall and I have been meaning to check it out and my friend agreed to meet me there. When I mentioned to Primrose Park I was looking forward to hitting up their shop that weekend via Instagram, they informed me they were taking part in a 2-day blowout sale at D.NOLO in Minneapolis’ North Loop neighborhood.

This is why social media can be awesome, people. Primrose Park or D.NOLO might have gotten my business anyway on Saturday, but it was guaranteed when Primrose Park reached out to me on Instagram.

Short story long, my friend and I decided to meet up at D.NOLO on Saturday afternoon and shopped a Primrose Park and a bunch of other local boutiques for a 2-day sale! These retailers included:

area
bluebird boutique
bumbershute
The Firm
House of 365
Juniper
kindred
Mona Williams
Primrose Park
Roe Wolfe
rosegold
Sisu
TRUCE Juice

There was a wide variety of womens goods ranging from designer clothing, handmade jewelry, bags, shoes and accessories. Designers including (to name only a few):

Nicole Miller
Joie
Citizens of Humanity
JBrand
Helmut Lang
Liebeskind
Rag & Bone

Each locally-owned retailer had their merchandise in their own area and you checked out individually. Best part was everything was marked down! Few things are better than seeing something you want and the price has a big red line through it! Or maybe that’s just me?

We had a lot of fun browsing through all of the trendy garments (above photo courtesy of D.NOLO’s Facebook page) and we both came out with something we wanted. The space really accommodated all the shops and everyone was very nice and helpful.

Also to mention, D.NOLO has a shared parking lot! Hallelujah! Afterwards, my friend and I scooted over to The Monte Carlo for a drink and appetizer. The whole afternoon was just fabulous and just different enough for me to MaryBeth for the day instead of “mom”.

Did you hit up the 2-day sale this weekend, have fun shopping or spend quality time with a friend?

My outfit details:

I left links to all the shops in this post if you want to check any of them out. I think a lot of these boutiques are loyal to the brands they carry and have similar items in store! Thanks for stopping by, Jess!
